Single Sign-On Capability is Live!
You may have heard of SSO, but perhaps you may not be aware of what it is and if it would be helpful for your organization.
What does Single Sign-On (SSO) mean?
Single sign-on (SSO) is an authentication process that allows a user to access multiple applications with one set of login credentials. This means, the login credentials you use every day on other systems within your company, can be connected to Passport in a way that does not require you to manage separate logins.
SSO advantages include:
- Improves compliance through centralized user management.
- Eliminates credential reauthentication and reduces help desk requests; thus, improving productivity.
- Streamlines local and remote application and desktop workflow.
- Minimizes phishing.
Technical documentation for SSO can be found HERE.
Please contact us with any questions or if your team needs more information on how or why this capability would be helpful to your organization!
Passport now has the functionality to support customization in Welcome Emails! Now clients who want to customize the logo in the email, add or remove text in the body, as well as remove password or username information have options. The From and To emails remain consistent for reporting and security requirements, but the content of the email is highly custom. Please reach out to your Client Client Support today for more information.
