This article covers resolving Blue Pending Alerts on your dashboard.
A Blue Pending Alert appears when a provider’s status is marked as "Pending" due to missing required information needed for some or all monitoring services. Depending on the services the provider is being monitored for, common missing details may include:
- Social Security Number (SSN)
- Name
- Date of Birth (DOB)
Note: Providers with a "Pending" status will still receive monitoring for the services where sufficient information is available. Monitoring for other services will begin once the missing information is provided.
How to Resolve a Blue Pending Alert
Follow these steps to identify and update missing information:
- Log in to Passport.
- Locate the Blue Pending icon on your dashboard.
- This icon will direct you to the "Providers" tab, showing a list of providers with a "Pending" status.
- Click "View" next to the name of the provider whose information needs to be updated.
To Manually Edit Provider Information
- Click "Edit" next to the relevant fields.
- Enter the missing data.
- Click "Save" to confirm your updates.
Fields to review include:
- A complete 9-digit SSN (including any leading zeros)
- Date of Birth (DOB)
- First and Last Name
- National Provider Identifier (NPI)
If your organization uses file integration (e.g., HRIS or Electronic Health Record systems), please make sure the updated information is added to the source data. The corrected data will then be included in the next file upload to Passport.
